• Performance: The Ecofiltro 5L initially filters approximately 1-2 glasses of water per hour. As the pores of the filtering unit gradually open up, this rate increases to about 1 liter per hour, ensuring a consistent supply of clean water.

• Performance: The Ecofiltro 20L starts filtering water at a rate of approximately 1 liter per hour. As the pores of the filtering unit gradually open up, this rate increases to around 2 liters per hour, ensuring a steady and efficient flow of clean water.
• Configuration: A 5-liter filter unit features a filter unit combined with a 15-liter filtered water storage unit, providing a total capacity of 20 liters.

Initial Water Taste

• In the beginning, you may notice a slight clay taste in the water. This is a natural part of the process as the filter’s pores open up. The water is still safe to drink, but we suggest filtering more water during the first few weeks to help the taste become neutral faster.

Maintenance Tips

• Regular Cleaning: Wash the Ecofiltro every 6 months.
• Cleaning Procedure: Use only filtered water and a new sponge on a clean cloth. Start cleaning from the outside and then move to the inside. Remember to handle the water filter only from the edges with clean hands.
• Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Never wash the water filter with soap or bleach.
• Sunlight Protection: Avoid exposing the Ecofiltro to direct sunlight.
• Replacement Reminder: Renew the water filter every 2 years.
